Natalie's first ATC card!

Natalie is on "vacation" for a couple of nights so Mom & Dad can celebrate our 22nd anniversary. Yeah, yeah, it's not really a vacation when you're made to go! LOL! But she gets to go shopping at a huge outlet mall with Mammaw & her sister. I figure it's a fair trade off. She has money to spend & we have quiet time! LOL!

She wanted to finish her House Mouse challenge before she left. Most weeks she likes to look through the sketch challenges for ideas. This time she learned what an ATC card was & came up with her design right away without using any other ideas! Way to go Natalie! The challenge was to make an ATC card. She thought it would be fun to use this stamp and include stitching. So, when she was finished assembling the card, she practiced sewing on cardstock. She's sewn on fabric before, but it's different on cardstock. She wasn't liking how it went crooked, so took out a few stitches & started over. She went through my button stash & found these darling buttons from Papertrey Ink. She really wanted to use button brads I have (they are TINY) but in the midst of the crazy messy craft room I had no idea where to even point her.

After nearly a week at church camp, Natalie got home & said, "I need to make a House Mouse Challenge card!" This challenge was to use jewels. She also used the Midnight Madness sketch challenge and the Stamp Something challenge to use pretty papers. This is for a special lady who helped her in raising money to go to camp!

A new card from Natalie! She had an image all colored up for the last challenge, but ol' mom here was getting ready for surgery to remove kidney stones, so a card nor picture never happened. HERE is one that did get finished! Will add details later!

Natalie's first card on her own blog! Natalie's Mom here to post things til I can teach her how to do this on her own. Her card started as a House Mouse & Friend Challenge, but with a common theme it fit several other challenges. Her card is a New Friend. She wanted to enter it for an additional challenge that used glitter, but we missed the deadline (Mom didn't take the picture & upload it soon enough----oops!).
